CELBANPrep University: How to Prepare for the CELBAN

Distinctions between the 3 Bundles

CELBANPrep University has three bundles: Bronze, Silver and Gold. Each bundle provides access to a different part of the university's learning landcape.

Bundles are located in a node, which are called "centres." Centres contain information (Information Centre) resources (Resource Centre) or CLB-based professional development courses (Learning Centre).

To see the greatest improvement in your CLB-based language skills, you should be ready to spend a minimum of 30 minutes a day studying, over several months.

Additionally, you need to have a level 5 on the IELTS or CLB test and have intermediate English skills. These delimitations will help you get the most out of the resources and courses resulting in greater improvement in your language abilities NOT ONLY for the exam, but for your career in Canada.

Learning Path & Progression of the 3 Bundles

They are 3 different levels of the same architecture.

Beginner → Bronze in the Information Centre → Evaluate

Bronze Bundle

It’s a library of information you can explore at your own pace.

Located in the Information Centre, the Bronze Bundle provides orientation, information, self-evaluation and introductory CELBAN resources

The Bronze Bundle was created for the Beginner, the Explorer, who is new to CELBAN or uncertain about where to begin.

Silver Bundle

Program at a Glance

> The Silver Bundle transforms test results into learning direction. It helps you see not what you lack... but what wants attention, refinement, and care.

Located in the Resource Centre, the Silver Bundle has been created for self-directed skill development; as clb-based workplace-based skill sets, this bundle is not only for the CELBAN but also the IELTS and OET.

The Silver Bundle was created for those who are at the Intermediate: who have taken the CELBAN, have the feedback report, and knows which areas need improvement.

There are modules (focusing on CLB Knowledges) one for each of the following: Reading Essentials, Writing Essentials, Listening Essentials, Speaking Essentials.

LEARNING MODE: Self-directed and on-demand.

GOLD Bundle

Located in the Learning Centre, the GOLD bundle is exceptionally valuable as CLB-based and workplace-based professional and career-development learning that goes far beyond basic exam preparation. At this stage, CELBAN Preparation is about career advancement: ensuring patient health and safety in moderately demanding to demanding situations and contexts.

The GOLD Bundle was created for those at an advanced level, having completed the Bronze bundle and are ready to embark more fully on their preparations not only for the CELBAN but their careers in heathcare in Canada. The Gold Bundle is often a companion to the Silver Bundle, and goes beyong just Internationally Educated Nurses to include other Internationally Educated Health Professionals: those ready to make a larger investment in personal and professional development

(C3) Canadian Culture & Communication

PRIMARY DEVELOPMENT: Listening + Speaking
